An Intensive Free CAT Training Program for top 10 meritorious and economically weak students

1. What is GOLDEN 10?

GOLDEN 10 is a program conceived by Mr. Sarath Babu, Founder of Food King and supported by Ascent Education. The program aims at offering FREE CAT preparation to 10 meritorious students who hail from economically weaker sections of the society.

2. What does GOLDEN 10 aim to do?
GOLDEN 10 is a 4-month, intensive classroom program for CAT 2010 for academically bright but economically weak students. Classes will be conducted during the day at one of Ascent Education's centres at Chennai from Monday to Friday.

Classes will be handled primarily by IIM Graduates and qualified training professionals. The entire program including all required course material will be provided to selected candidates, free of cost.

3. Who can apply to the GOLDEN 10 Program?
If you hail from an economically weaker section of the society and have proven your academic prowess at school and college levels and have a burning desire to do an MBA from India's top notch Management Institutes, you are the ideal candidate that we are looking for.

4. What is the criteria for being selected to the program?
We will be conducting a written test at different cities in Tamilnadu including Coimbatore, Salem, Madurai and Chennai on June 28, 2010. Students who score high in the test and have documentary evidence to prove academic performance and family income will be selected to attend the program.

You should have completed your college education and possess either a provisional certificate or a degree certificate to participate in the program. Students in the final year of college are NOT eligible to apply to the program.

5. If I am not from Chennai, is it possible to participate in the program?
If you are selected to attend the program and you are from a different city, then we will provide you with hostel accomodation and food at Chennai, free of cost.

6. What is the course Curriculum and structure?
All sections tested in the CAT viz., Quantitative Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning, and Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning will be taught from the basics. Adequate practice material and test material will be provided to help you gain confidence.

Faculty members comprise IIM graduates who have successfully mentored numerous CAT aspirants including Mr.Sarath Babu, for the last 10 years.

Each day classes will begin at 10 AM and will go on till 4 PM with breaks for lunch and tea. Attendance during the tenure of the program is compulsory.
